Education House believes that some form of corporate giving should be a
standard part of a company’s activities, especially in developing
societies such as ours.
The Education House ‘Scholarship and Grant initiative’ tagged ‘Exceed
your limits’ is based on a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
framework developed internally with the appointment of eleven board of
trustees, individual who understand the vision and mission of this
initiative. It is a framework that takes into consideration not only
corporate philanthropy, but educational, economic, environmental, health
and social responsibility as well.
As you may be aware, the Education House ‘Take a Child Back to School’
Scholarship program through Education House Aid Office in partnership
with owners of private schools in Rivers State, Nigeria has so far
awarded more than 9,508 (Nine thousand five hundred and eight) brilliant
orphans, vulnerable and less privileged boys and girls with tuition-free
scholarship in private primary, junior and senior secondary schools in
Rivers State and its environs for the past ten years.
This year, 2020/2021 Academic session, Education House together with
philanthropist are awarding 200 Orphans, vulnerable, less privileged and
street children tuition free scholarship into Pre-Nursery, Nursery 1-2,
Basic 1-5, JS 1-2 and educational grants (Free School bag, Shoes, Socks,
Exercise books, Textbooks and writing materials).
